- I'm just starting out as an illustrator after 4 years of teaching, 10 years of administration and a few things in between. I was hooked onto comics after reading The Crow and absolutely loved The Sandman and Batman. My favourite children's book is Flotsam - I love the fact that a story can be told without using any words.
