Hello there, everyone! Just thought I'd pitch in there and see if there are any artists who might be interested in working with a writer :)

 

I might have an idea for a "spooky story" based in Malaysia. Don't worry if you're not familiar with the country, the setting includes universally urban or jungle scenes, and I could point to some artistic references or describe the little details that make it uniquely Malaysian.

 

Alternatively, I have a non-Malaysian fantasy story about evil unicorns ;) 

 

Will elaborate for anyone interested.

Seeing Illustrators and Animators:

An opportunity to collaborate on a professional music video and receive high media exposure of the finished work.
 
I am producing an animated music video for the Glasgow-based band 'Sparrow and the Workshop'

The song is 'Our Lady of the Potatoes' which is about an impoverished Irish girl who becomes the courtesan of the debauched Louis VX.
 
It is an upbeat, fast paced indie track with a unique and exciting storyline.

I am looking for an enthusiastic team of illustrators and 2-d animators to collaborate with designing the characters, backgrounds and 'scenery'

This is a low budget production and so I'm unable to offer a fee. However it's a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to gain exposure with their work. The finished film will be presented to their large fan base online, on their website, and there is potential for TV broadcast.  People tend to watch visual media online these days so we will push the video to be featured on BBC music, and Q music websites so that it 'goes viral'

Seeking Artist, Inker and colourist for Graphic Novel.

Little bit of info: I have spent the last couple of years building up characters and a story and almost finished the writing of said story. Personally my drawing sucks so I am looking for an artist inker and colourist, if you can do more than one of those things, then don't be shy :).

The story its self is a Super Hero story and is based in the Falkirk area of Scotland and a good knowledge of the area would be a plus but not necessarily as I will take pictures of most area's and the key locations for the story, if you would rather do that yourself then let me know :)

The idea here is to bring my dream to life and together we could make it happen, once completed we can then sell it both physically and digitally, sharing the profits. This would be a great opportunity to get your name out there and make a mark.

I want the applicants (you) to do this not for the potential profit, but for the love of comics.
